A Word on Traditions

(Source)

"A bride should wear Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, and Something Blue."

"The groom shouldn't see the bride before the ceremony."

"The happy couple should cut the cake and feed each other a piece."

"The bride should wear white on her wedding day."

There are lots of traditions associated with weddings. Some are rooted in religion, while others are cultural. And while some brides are excited to honor traditions that their mothers and grandmothers did on their wedding days, we are here to tell you it's absolutely okay to toss out the ones that don't appeal to you. You have our full permission! This is your day so you should consider your wedding a personal a la cart menu of customs and traditions. Don't wanna wear white? Don't! Want to spend the night before with your hubby-to-be? Do it! Think the cake-cutting thing is lame?? Skip it! The point isn't to abandon all traditions but to create a day that is authentic and meaningful to you. Keep the traditions that call to you, toss out the ones that don't, and give yourself full freedom to create new ones that reflect who you are.

A Sparkly Send Off

(Source)

While we hate to see you leave, we love to see a stylish send off. Hand out sparklers during your grand exit from the reception and have a proper send off! We think it is awesome, totally picture-worthy, and a great way to end the night...until the after party starts, anyway.
