Kardashian Gown Knock-Offs Coming Soon

Last week, we brought you the scoop on Kim Kardashian's three wedding gowns. Of course, they were gorgeous dresses and Kim looked every bit a Hollywood goddess in them. So we shouldn't be surprised that David's Bridal is going to be selling Vera Wang-created knock-offs replicas of two of her gowns at $1600 a pop. Umm, is this as appalling to you as it is to us??

Clearly, they are beautiful wedding gowns. But who in the world would want to wear a replica of what will be one of the most-viewed wedding gowns in recent history?! The gowns were custom-made for Kim and I truly wonder if anyone else will be able to wear them without everyone thinking of Kim Kardashian and her over-the-top Hollywood wedding.

And furthermore, how much of a hand did Kim have in this? Is this just another way for her to cash in on what should be a real and sacred moment in her life? I defend the Kardashians every chance I get because I really do appreciate the savvy businesswomen that they are; however, this is just downright tacky. Yuck.
